Miller Hull Partnership Designs Newhouse Replacement Building for Washington State Capitol Campus

The Newhouse Replacement Building, a 59,000-square-foot facility for public administration, is being developed by The Miller Hull Partnership on Washington State's historic Capitol Campus. Expected to be finished in 2025, this structure is part of the Legislative Campus Modernization project. It seeks to harmonize the region's architectural history with modern sustainability and operational efficiency. Structural engineering is provided by Lund Opsahl, while civil engineering comes from Reid Middleton. PAE Consulting Engineers handle MEP consulting, and landscape architecture is by Murase Associates. Lighting design is by Dark | Light, with acoustics managed by BRC Acoustics. Hoffman Construction Company serves as the general contractor. Numerous manufacturers, including Assa Abloy and Bosch, contributed products.
