MilanOltre Festival Turns 31 with Focus on Canadian Dance and Enzo Cosimi

The 31st edition of the MilanOltre contemporary dance festival takes place in Milan from September 28 to October 29, 2017. This year's lineup features 11 companies presenting 25 performances, including 20 titles with 9 making their Italian debuts, alongside a special project. Rino De Pace, the artistic director, highlights the festival's commitment to innovative choreography and artistic fusion. Kicking off the event is Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker's 'Rosas danst Rosas' on September 28-29. Italian premieres include 'The Rain Sequence' by Fabrizio Favale on October 1 and 'HABITData' by Ariella Vidach on October 4. A tribute to Canada, celebrating its 150th anniversary, runs from October 7-14. Enzo Cosimi's segment, featuring 'Bastard Sunday' on October 11 and 'Corpus Hominis' on October 14, is scheduled for October 11-22. Most events will be held at Teatro Elfo Puccini.
