Milano: weekend di musica sperimentale tra HangarBicocca e Fondazione Prada
The Against Method festival, created by Mark Fell and inspired by Sheela Gowda's Remains exhibition, took place on June 13 and 14, 2019, at Pirelli HangarBicocca, where it will remain until September 15. Curated by Pedro Rocha, the festival featured concerts, a sound installation, and a discussion. The first night showcased Indian Carnatic artists, including Nandini Muthuswamy and Drumming – Grupo de Percussão, alongside Nakul Krishnamurthy, Rian Treanor, and Jan Hendrickse. On the second night, Fell debuted a new composition, with performances by Jan Hendrickse, Sandro Mussida, Mohammad Reza Mortazavi, and Sofia Jernberg. On June 14, the Prada Foundation hosted a music program curated by Craig Richards, featuring Biosphere, Andrea Belfi, and Object Blue. The next event is scheduled for September 27, 2019, with Floating Points, Ben UFO, and Colleen.
