Milano Pride 2019: 4 art events not to miss during Pride Week
Milano Pride 2019 takes place from June 21 to 30, marking the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots with more than 60 events, such as exhibitions, theater performances, conferences, parties, and sports activities. The main hub is located at Porta Venezia, featuring Pride Square. The parade, scheduled for June 29, will commence at Stazione Centrale and conclude at Piazzale Oberdan, with an anticipated turnout of over 250,000 attendees. Noteworthy highlights include the exhibition 'La Prima Volta Fu Rivolta' at Pop from June 21-30, curated by Alice Redaelli, and 'Calathis: Dandelion' performances at Tempio del Futuro Perduto from June 23-28. Additionally, a vigil on June 28 at Piazzale Lavater will include a torchlight procession and the unveiling of the Panchina Arcobaleno. 'La Traviata Norma' is set to be performed at Teatro Elfo Puccini on June 22.
