Milano Music Week opens with outdoor photo exhibition Music Lives Here
The third edition of Milano Music Week, running from November 18 to 24, 2019, kicks off with an open-air photography exhibition titled Music Lives Here. The exhibition, located along via Dante in the heart of Milan, features 24 large-scale photographs by Francesco Prandoni and Sergione Infuso, capturing iconic live music moments in the city. The images include performances by Lou Reed at Arena Parco Sempione, Skunk Anansie at Alcatraz, Ed Sheeran at Santeria Paladini (his first Milan show in 2012), Tom Waits at Teatro degli Arcimboldi, Patti Smith at Carroponte, Bruce Springsteen and Depeche Mode at Stadio San Siro, Roger Waters and Kiss at Mediolanum Forum in Assago, and Iron Maiden, Iggy Pop, and Snoop Dogg at Ippodromo del Galoppo San Siro. Curator Luca de Gennaro, Vice President Talent & Music of Viacom International Media Networks, stated that the week aims to valorize music photographers by disseminating images along a central street. The exhibition runs until November 29.
