Milano MuseoCity 2026: 154 venues, Olympic tie-in, extended to over a month

The tenth iteration of Milano MuseoCity takes place from February 6 to March 15, 2026, aligning with the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Games. This year's theme, "Le imprese della cultura" (Cultural Enterprises), involves 154 institutions, including 40 newcomers. The event kicks off on February 6 with "Musei in Vetrina," featuring pieces from over thirty museums, such as Giò Pomodoro and Missoni. The main activities are scheduled for February 27 to March 5, offering special openings and workshops at 124 venues. The "Museo Segreto" initiative will unveil 64 previously unexhibited works. Additionally, the Premio Rimani will recognize three projects, while special initiatives include "Images of Italy: Milan in Focus" and "Oltre il podio." MuseoKids will provide activities for children and families.
