Milano Design Week 2022: food pop-up and bar projects
From June 5 to 12, 2022, Milan Design Week will feature Marimar's Marble Bar, crafted by designers Davide Fabio Colaci and Luisa Bertoldo, drawing inspiration from Adolf Loos's American Bar (1908). Situated at Arci Bellezza, this bar showcases Marimar's STONES collection. Colaci emphasizes the modern application of marble by Loos and the bar's welcoming design. Additional pop-up experiences include Krug Studio at the Four Seasons (June 7-14) and Monkey 47's wunderBar, alongside temporary bars at Alcova, such as Caffé Populaire and Offcut Bar. Marialaura Rossiello Irvine will launch a café at the Circolo Filologico Milanese, while chef Tommaso Arrigoni will provide meals at the reopened Rotonda Bistrò at Rotonda della Besana. The We Are Ona restaurant (June 4-11) at Fabbrica Orobia will feature dishes by chef Sayaka Sawaguchi.
