Milano design scene through three research spaces: Crepaccio, Oxilia Gallery, Alcova

Caroline Corbetta founded Crepaccio in 2012 during a lunch with Maurizio Cattelan, occupying the window of Carpaccio restaurant in Milan. In 2017, she transitioned the project online, creating a digital gallery featuring weekly works by young artists. Oxilia Gallery, founded by Alessandro Mensi and Frederik De Wachter, showcases the intersection of design, modernariato, art, and craftsmanship. Until November 30, it presents Aleksandra Liput's 'Foul Air,' exploring fear, inherited trauma, spirituality, and magical thinking. On December 12, a solo show of Réjean Peytavin's Limoges ceramic sculptures opens. Alcova Project Space, curated by Valentina Ciuffi (studio Vedet) and Josef Grima (Space Caviar), sells works online via Alcova Design Shop. It will migrate to Design Miami at the Selina Gold Dust Motel in Miami's Biscayne Boulevard/MiMo district from December 6 to 11, featuring designers such as Architetti Artigiani Anonimi, Stefano Fusani, Stefania Ruggero, Massimiliano Marchesani, and NM3.
