Milano Design Film Festival 2019: Mind the Gap Program Announced
The seventh edition of the Milano Design Film Festival, titled 'Mind the Gap,' is scheduled for October 24 to 27, 2019, at the Anteo Palazzo del Cinema, Teatro della Triennale, and Ordine degli Architetti di Milano. This year's event, curated by Antonella Dedini, Silvia Robertazzi, and Porzia Bergamasco, delves into the technological disparities in design. Guest curator Alice Rawstorn has chosen films such as Buster Keaton's 'One Week' and Jean-Luc Godard's 'Two or Three Things I Know About Her.' The festival will showcase critiques of the housing market, including 'The Human Shelter' by Boris Benjamin Bertram and 'Push' by Fredrik Gertten. Additionally, a new section called MDFF Bloom, curated by Antonio Perazzi, will highlight landscape. The AFA Architecture Film Award will also be presented, featuring a €7,000 prize.
