Milano Centrale Festival: New Photography Festival Launches in Milan

From October 6 to 8, 2023, Milan will host the inaugural Milano Centrale Festival near Stazione Centrale. This event, initiated by Luca Panaro of Chippendale Studio, serves as a special edition of the Centrale Festival in Fano, which is set to celebrate its 15th anniversary in June 2024. The festival will take place across more than ten exhibition venues along Naviglio Martesana, including Maggiolina, Greco, and Gorla, all bike-friendly. Key attractions include a retrospective by Ugo La Pietra at Biblioteca di Morando, the SWIT exhibition at Chippendale Studio, and the Dummy Photobook exhibition at Anfiteatro Martesana. It aligns with Giornata del contemporaneo on October 7, featuring performances and interactive events, in collaboration with Associazione Centrale Fotografia di Fano and Municipio 2 – Comune di Milano.
