Milano Centrale Festival 2025: Photography and Language Experiments in Unconventional Spaces

festival-fair · 2026-04-26

The Milano Centrale Festival's third edition is set for October 3–5, 2025, taking place in unconventional locations such as laundromats, churches, and libraries. This festival, which originated from the Centrale Festival in Fano (Marche) established in 2009 by Marcello Sparaventi and Luca Panaro, seeks to celebrate photography while showcasing a vibrant cultural scene in Milan. The event will feature a variety of exhibitions, performances, discussions, and workshops. Notable artists participating include Paolo Ventura, Irene Mele, Julia Carrillo, Maurizio Finotto, Fabio Sandri, and Roberto Cavazzuti. Additionally, a segment dedicated to art publishing will showcase Chippendale Studio's Dummy Photobook and other works. A special book-object will be displayed at Biblioteca di Gorla to honor the 1944 bombing that claimed 184 children's lives.
