Milano Art Week: public sculptures and murals invade the city

festival-fair · 2026-04-27

Milano Art Week brings a wave of public art projects that reshape the urban landscape. At Mudec, Flavio Favelli's mural 'I Trenta' creatively showcases thirty passports in a vibrant rainbow gradient, contributing to the exhibition 'Rainbow. Colors and Wonders between Myths, Arts and Science,' which is on display until July 2, 2023, and engages with Claire Fontaine's installation at BASE. New pieces at CityLife's ArtLine Milano feature Otobong Nkanga's 'Where strata gather,' Liliana Moro's 'Sundown,' and Rossella Biscotti's 'Come fare?'. Franco Mazzucchelli's 'Aria, terra, acqua' can be seen at Triennale Milano and Darsena dei Navigli from April 13-26. Marinella Senatore's sculpture is exhibited at Galleria Cracco until May 2. The 'Sottotraccia' video art review is available until April 16, and 'Tunnel Reload' showcases Coquelicot Mafille's poster art starting mid-April. This event is organized by Comune di Milano, Triennale Milano, BASE Milano, and Milano Art Community.
