Milan studio recreates Game of Thrones intro with 7,600 Moleskine paper cutouts
Milan-based design studio Dadomani recreated the Game of Thrones title sequence using only Moleskine paper, employing 7,600 cutouts to model gears, wheels, drawbridges, towers, and crests, animated in stop motion. The project promotes a new Moleskine line inspired by the HBO series, consisting of four standard notebooks and one rare edition available only at monobrand stores. Cover serigraphs were designed by emerging artist Levente Szabò, with prices ranging from €19 to €25. Moleskine, positioned as the heir to the classic notebook used by artists and intellectuals for two centuries, previously counted Vincent van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Ernest Hemingway, and Bruce Chatwin among its users.
