Milan restaurant Immorale showcases emerging artists

Luca Leone Zampa, an agronomist and chef, opened the restaurant Immorale in Milan in autumn 2019 in the former Forno Collettivo space on via Lecco. The name is inspired by Manuel Vazquez Montalban's 'Ricette Immorali'. After the pandemic interrupted its early path, Zampa launched a second venue, Immorale Osé, just over two years later. Both restaurants double as exhibition spaces for emerging artists, selected through Zampa's personal scouting and with support from galleries like Renata Fabbri in Milan. At Immorale Osé, a loaned acrylic and pencil on canvas painting by Andrea Martinucci (Rome, 1991) is on display. Two sound-absorbing panels decorated by Oliviero Fiorenzi (Osimo, 1992), inspired by mural aesthetics, and two polyurethane foam sculptures by the same artist also feature. At the original Immorale, works by Andrea Q, a Milanese illustrator, and Cristiano Rizzo (Borgomanero, 1993) are shown. Zampa's interest in contemporary art is longstanding and self-taught, influenced by social media and connections with galleries like Zucca in Fano and Tommaso Calabro in Milan. He plans a future artist residency project in Montefeltro.
