Milan opens call for historic Caselli Daziari to become cultural spaces

A public tender has been announced by the Municipality of Milan for the redevelopment of three historic toll booths (Caselli Daziari) in the city’s core into spaces for cultural, civic, or commercial use. Two of these booths are situated in Piazza Cinque Giornate, while one is located in Piazza XXIV Maggio, with sizes varying from 140 to 335 square meters. The booth in Piazza XXIV Maggio, formerly known as the Dazio Art Café, measures 335.85 sqm. This tender follows the recent allocation of another toll booth in Porta Ticinese to Enel. The concessions will last for 12 years, excluding certain activities, with starting annual fees set at €41,618 for each booth in Piazza Cinque Giornate and €44,987 for the one in Piazza XXIV Maggio. Proposals must be submitted by September 28, 2023.
