Milan Gets First Physical Gallery Dedicated to Crypto Art
EnneFT, a new physical gallery entirely dedicated to crypto art, NFTs, blockchain, and the metaverse, opens in Milan on June 7 at Corso Colombo 11 in the Porta Genova district. Founded by Matteo Cozzi and Cesare Marsilio, the space previously operated as a consulting firm for artists and content creators entering the NFT market, offering strategic communication, brand identity development in VR/AR, and educational programs. With Cozzi as artistic director, EnneFT inaugurates its exhibition activity with the group show NEXT, curated by Carola Antonioli and Giorgia Massari of AsolaGroup. The exhibition features works by five artists from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, united under the university collective MetaBrera: Alice Capelli, Alvise Pi, Claudia Schioppa, Martina Dalla Vecchia, and Oleg Go. Supported by professor Marco Negroni, the fifteen works on display start as traditional paintings, drawings, and photographs before being minted as NFTs. The show embodies EnneFT's mission to 'digitalize the present to make it more interconnected and capable of expressing the needs and potential of current society.' Following the opening, the public can meet the young artists and hear about their journey toward crypto art. The gallery also features screens for digital displays and a VR headset for exploring virtual reality, aiming to promote emerging talent and communicate the potential of this expanding field through talks and events.
