Milan creates new museum hub for 19th-20th century art, seeks director
Milan has introduced a new museum center that focuses on modern and contemporary art by combining five different institutions into a single management framework. They’re on the lookout for a director, either from within or outside the organization, with a contract offering around €90,000 a year. The new director will face major tasks, including enhancing the Museo del Novecento and building a walkway between its two locations. This project encompasses the Museo del Novecento, GAM Galleria d'Arte Moderna, Palazzo Morando, Casa Museo Boschi Di Stefano, and Studio Museo Francesco Messina. Marco Edoardo Maria Minoja is leading the reorganization, initiated by Councillor for Culture Tommaso Sacchi, emphasizing the need for a dedicated space for 19th-20th century art.
