Milan Celebrates Robert Rauschenberg's Centenary with Multiple Exhibitions
Milan is honoring the centennial of Robert Rauschenberg's birth (Port Arthur, 1925 – Captiva Island, 2008) through exhibitions organized by the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation. Renowned for his fusion of Abstract Expressionism and media imagery, Rauschenberg worked alongside John Cage and Merce Cunningham at Black Mountain College. The 29th miart, scheduled for April 4–6, 2025, at Allianz MiCo, is themed "among friends," a nod to Rauschenberg's 2017 retrospective at MoMA.
