Milan bicycle tours explore city architecture with Rossignoli and Triennale
Rossignoli, a historic Milanese bicycle workshop at Corso Garibaldi 71 since 1900, organizes free guided evening bike tours called 'Archipedalate' on September 25 and October 9, 2025. The tours start at 19:30 from the shop, last about two hours, and end at Eroica Caffè near Naviglio Pavese. Participants explore hidden courtyards, Liberty districts, rationalist buildings, and contemporary architecture. Helmets and lights are mandatory. Separately, Triennale Milano has created two cycling itineraries to discover architectural works by Vico Magistretti (1920–2006), including Santa Maria Nascente church at QT8, a house in Piazza San Marco, the Torre al Parco Sempione, and a residential building with cuts inspired by Lucio Fontana in Via San Gregorio. Magistretti, a celebrated Italian designer and architect, used his bicycle to navigate Milan, visiting his studio in via Conservatorio, construction sites, showrooms, and the Palazzo dell'Arte for Triennale events. Rossignoli, family-run and awarded an Ambrogino in 2021, also sells and rents bicycles from city to gravel models.
