Milan Architecture Studio De.Tales Opens Art Gallery with 'Mondi Sottili'
Milanese architecture firm De.Tales has inaugurated its new headquarters in the San Cristoforo district near the Naviglio Grande with an art exhibition titled 'Mondi Sottili.' The show, open by appointment until January 31, 2025, is organized in collaboration with Illustrazioni Seriali, an illustration agency and gallery founded in 2017. The exhibition features works by four female artists: Gaia Alari, Charlotte Ager, Marta Jorio, and Beatrice Spadea. Curated by Chiara Pozzi, the show explores the intersection of art and architecture, highlighting the artists' delicate graphic sensibility and poetic translation of everyday life. The venue, a renovated 1970s brutalist building near the former Richard Ginori complex, naturally lends itself to exhibitions, according to co-founder Giuseppe Varsavia. De.Tales plans to host quarterly exhibitions, aligning with Milan's major design and art events, starting with Design Week. The exhibition space, called De.Gallery, is located at the heart of the bustling architecture and interior design studio.
