Milan and Turin Museums Launch Breakfast and Brunch Experiences

Two Italian cultural institutions are launching new gastronomic initiatives that combine art and food. At Fondazione Luigi Rovati in Milan, the Caffè Bistrot Andrea Aprea started 'Colazione al Museo' on February 19, 2025. The offer includes two breakfast formulas: 'Colazione Dolce e Salata' at €85 for two people, featuring a hot drink, juice, pastry, fresh fruit, and a choice of dish; and 'Colazione all'Italiana' at €50 for two, with a hot drink, juice, and pastry. Both include free museum entry to temporary exhibitions and the permanent collection. In Turin, Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo's Stella Café launches '1,2,3 Stella!' on March 1, 2025, a weekend brunch for families every Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 15:00 at Via Modena 20. The brunch, curated by executive chef Flavio Cumali of Pop Up, offers sweet and savory dishes with a Piedmontese twist at €28 for adults and €12 for children, with free access to the foundation's spaces. Additionally, '1,2,3 Stella!' includes workshops and activities for children to discover contemporary art and artists, providing a creative educational experience while adults enjoy leisure time.
