Mikala Tai Appointed Director of 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art

In September 2015, Mikala Tai took on the role of director at the 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art located in Sydney. She replaces Aaron Seeto, who will be the Curatorial Manager for Asian and Pacific Art at the Queensland Art Gallery in Brisbane. Tai brings expertise in Australian design and contemporary Asian art to her new position. Additionally, she is involved in academia as a sessional lecturer at both RMIT University and the University of Melbourne. Recently, she earned her PhD from the University of New South Wales Art & Design, examining the influence of global cities on China’s art infrastructure.
