Mika Rottenberg Awarded 2018 Kurt Schwitters Prize with Solo Exhibition at Sprengel Museum Hannover
Argentinian artist Mika Rottenberg has been named the recipient of the 2018 Kurt Schwitters Prize, a biennial honor managed by the Niedersächsische Sparkassenstiftung. She will be granted €25,000 and a solo show at the Sprengel Museum in Hannover. An international jury, including Reinhard Spieler of the Sprengel Museum Hannover, Ralf Beil from the Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg, Laurent Le Bon of the Musée Picasso in Paris, Massimiliano Gioni from the New Museum in New York, and Susanne Pfeffer of the Museum of Modern Art in Frankfurt, selected Rottenberg.
