Miguel Gomes' 'Arabian Nights' Trilogy Released in French Theaters

Miguel Gomes' three-film series 'Les Mille et une nuits' (Arabian Nights), inspired by the classic tales, premiered at the Cannes Directors' Fortnight and was released in French theaters during summer 2015. The films—'L'Inquiet' (June 24), 'Le Désolé' (July 29), and 'L'Enchanté' (August 26)—were programmed as a trilogy at the festival. The project reimagines the ancient stories through a contemporary lens, blending documentary and fiction. Gomes, a Portuguese director, is known for his innovative narrative structures.
