Michelin Stars Awarded to Two Art-Inspired Restaurants in Italy's 2021 Guide

The 66th Michelin Guide Italy, published for 2021, features 29 new establishments from 13 different regions and introduces a new accolade, the 'Green Star,' which recognizes 13 chefs for their commitment to sustainable practices. Noteworthy among the new Michelin-starred restaurants are Senso Alfio Ghezzi, located at the Mart museum in Rovereto, and Ristorante Amistà at the Byblos Art Hotel Villa Amistà in Verona. Chef Alfio Ghezzi, a protégé of Gualtiero Marchesi, curates a seasonal menu at Senso, inspired by its artistic surroundings. Meanwhile, Chef Mattia Bianchi, who took the helm at Amistà in March 2019, received the restaurant's first star for its authentic Italian cuisine. Bianchi expressed gratitude to the Michelin Guide, his team, and hotel management for their support during the difficult times of 2020. The guide also mentions the closure of Davide Scabin's restaurant at Castello di Rivoli, which has lost its star.
