Michele De Lucchi's retrospective opens in deconsecrated Piacenza church

An exhibition titled 'Michele De Lucchi. With Hands and Mind | Forty Years of Experimentation in Art, Design, and Architecture' launched on April 6 at Volumnia, housed in the historic Sant'Agostino church in Piacenza. Curated by Paola Nicolin, the display celebrates four decades of Michele De Lucchi’s contributions, featuring architectural models, exclusive designs from Produzione Privata, drawings, and sculptures. The exhibition categorizes works into handmade pieces and artisan creations, showcasing De Lucchi’s interdisciplinary approach. Notable items include the acclaimed Tolomeo lamp, a Compasso d’Oro recipient, and a new yellow Murano vase named 'Agostino.' The exhibit runs through June 29.
