Michelangelo Pistoletto's Year-Long Anthological Exhibition at Villa Reale di Monza
An anthological exhibition titled "UR-RA – Unity of Religions – Responsibility of Art" by Michelangelo Pistoletto (Biella, 1933) will be held at Villa Reale di Monza from October 31, 2025, to October 31, 2026. Curated by Francesco Monico and supported by Consorzio Villa Reale e Parco di Monza alongside Cittadellarte Fondazione Pistoletto, the showcase includes the Flags of Religions and notable pieces such as "Il Sacerdote" and "Tempio." The event will conclude in the royal gardens with a new "Terzo Paradiso," featuring one hundred benches crafted from recycled materials. Additionally, four conferences will facilitate the signing of the "Carta di Monza per l’Interreligiosità" to encourage collaboration among major faiths, highlighting art's capacity to foster understanding and harmony, as emphasized by Pistoletto.
