Michelangelo Bastiani's Holographic Clouds in an Eye Clinic

The Beautiful Eyes Series, a contemporary art exhibition hosted by the D'Azeglio eye clinic in Bologna, presents Michelangelo Bastiani's 'Performing clouds – Pareidolie olografiche' for Art City White Night, coinciding with Arte Fiera. The project, promoted by Liquid Art System, features holographic works suspended in mid-air. Bastiani's research, rooted in the holographic universe theory of physicist David Bohm, explores visual perception and optical effects. The clinic, founded by neuro-ophthalmologist Piero Barboni and Giacomo Savini, collaborates with artist Umberto Ciceri as artistic director. The permanent collection includes works by Giulio Cassanelli, Patrizia Atti, Alessandro Brighetti, and Ciceri, and is open to the public free of charge.
