Michelangelo and Vasari Letters Exhibition Opens in Florence
The exhibition "Michelangelo e Vasari. Preziose lettere all'«amico caro» dall'archivio Vasari" opened at Palazzo Medici Riccardi in Florence, curated by Elena Capretti and Sergio Risaliti. It showcases restored letters from Michelangelo to Giorgio Vasari, revealing their deepening friendship. The show also highlights the digitization of Vasari's entire archive, comprising about 12,000 high-definition images, now accessible in Arezzo and Florence. The exhibition runs until July 24, 2016, and will later be replicated in Arezzo.
