Michela Giraud, a celebrated stand-up comedian from Italy, is set to make her directorial debut with 'Flaminia', which will be released on April 11 through Vision Distribution. The narrative revolves around two sisters: one who is ambitious and preoccupied with others' perceptions, and the other who is marginalized. Giraud authentically depicts the autistic experience, drawing inspiration from the 2020 book 'Tea. In the film, Giraud portrays Flaminia De Angelis, a fitness-enthusiast from Rome engaged to Alberto, while Rita Abela plays her autistic sister, Ludovica.
