Michel Poivert's Personal History of Photography
Michel Poivert, co-director with André Gunthert of the comprehensive 'L'Art de la photographie des origines à nos jours' (Citadelles & Mazenod, 2007), has released a new book titled 'Brève histoire de la photographie' (Hazan). In this volume, Poivert offers a personal vision of the medium's history across twelve chapters. The book was reviewed in artpress n°427, November 2015, pp. 104-105.
