Michel Foucault's Psychiatric Power Lectures Published

The lectures by Michel Foucault on psychiatric power, delivered from November 1973 to February 1974, have been published by Jacques Lagrange. Foucault himself states that these lectures begin where his 1961 book 'History of Madness' ends, at the point where the analysis of madness gives way to its medicalization. However, rather than continuing that history, the lectures radically change its presuppositions.
