exhibition · 2026-05-01

From February 10 to April 24, 2011, Le Fresnoy, Studio national des arts contemporains in Tourcoing, will host Solo Snow, a dedicated exhibition featuring the works of Canadian artist Michael Snow. Curated by Louise Déry and organized in collaboration with the Université du Québec à Montréal, this showcase highlights pieces created between 1970 and 2009, examining Snow's fundamental inquiries and the connections among his practices in photography, video, and music. The exhibition will include listening stations and will present new works previously exhibited at the Power Plant in Toronto and Galerie Martine Aboucaya in Paris. Key pieces on display are Diagonale (1982) and The Last LP (1987/1994). Snow's most recent solo exhibition in France took place at Centre Pompidou from 2002 to 2003.
