Michael Kirchoff: Photographer, Editor, and Advocate of the Photographic Arts

In the recently revived Mixtape series on Lenscratch, Michael Kirchoff, a photographer and editor based in Los Angeles, is featured. Kirchoff specializes in both commercial and fine art photography, recognized for his large-format work and notable projects like 'An Enduring Grace' and 'Sanctuary.' He holds several editorial positions, including Editor in Chief of Analog Forever Magazine, Founding Editor of Catalyst: Interviews, and Co-Host of The Diffusion Tapes podcast. His accolades include recognition from the International Photography Awards and publication in Harper's and Esquire Russia. His prints are housed in the Wende Museum in Los Angeles and the Lishui Photography Museum in China. Kirchoff began his photography journey at seven or eight with a Polaroid SX-70 and advocates for diversification and collaboration among photographers.
