Artribune has launched a web TV series featuring four key talks from the miart 2016 program, making them accessible online. The first video features artist Anri Sala in conversation with Francesco Bonami, discussing his video installations and collaborations with musicians, including his work 'Ravel Ravel Unravel' (2013) for the French Pavilion at the 2013 Venice Biennale. The second talk, 'A Moving History: Museums and Time-Based Arts,' includes Philip Bither (William and Nadine McGuire Director and Senior Curator, Performing Arts, Walker Art Centre, Minneapolis), Annie Fletcher (Chief Curator, Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven), and moderator Elena Volpato (GAM, Turin), exploring the relationship between artworks and collections across visual arts and other cultural disciplines. The third features dancer and choreographer Virgilio Sieni in conversation with Hans Ulrich Obrist, sharing his fusion of dance, visual arts, and classical culture. The fourth talk presents Tim Etchells, founder of the experimental theatre group Forced Entertainment (established 1984), meeting Chris Dercon, who will become director of the Volksbühne Berlin in 2017. The videos are available on Artribune's website in the web TV section.
