miart 2019 Unveils 'Horizon' Campaign by Jonathan Frantini
miart 2019 has launched its visual campaign titled 'Horizon', created by photographer Jonathan Frantini with art direction by Francesco Valtolina of Mousse Agency. The campaign features a cinematic narrative depicting a group of teenagers in a natural landscape over the course of a summer day, from dawn to dusk. It draws a parallel between adolescence as a time of experimentation and audacity, and art as an open horizon of future possibilities. Running from October 2018 until the fair's opening, Horizon will be disseminated across various platforms, including moving image and performance, to reflect miart's multiple facets—a fair where history and present dialogue, spanning works from the early 1900s to contemporary experiments. The campaign aims to attract a new generation of young collectors and image collectors (Instagrammers, influencers), while maintaining miart's identity through multimedia thematic communication. Horizon also evokes water as a symbol of transition, travel, and hybridization.
