MIA Photo Fair 2026: 111 exhibitors, theme Metamorphosis, and new awards in Milan
The 15th MIA Photo Fair BNP Paribas is scheduled to take place from March 19 to 22, 2026, with a preview set for March 18 at Superstudio Più in Milan. Under the direction of Francesca Malgara, the event will showcase 111 exhibitors, comprising 76 galleries—27 of which are international and 24 are debuting. The theme for 2026 is Metamorphosis, inspired by Ovid's poem. Notable curated sections include Beyond Photography – Dialogue, Reportage Beyond Reportage, and Focus Latino. Featured projects will highlight works by Newsha Tavakolian and others, alongside a show by William Wegman and projects focused on Giovanni Gastel and Nicolò Pudel. Institutional partners include MUSEC and Fondazione Sella, with ten awards to be presented and the Circuito OFF featuring exhibitions throughout Milan.
