MIA Milan Image Art Fair 2021 Relaunches at Superstudio Maxi
Milan Image Art Fair is set to take place from October 7 to 10, 2021, at Superstudio Maxi in Milan, following the cancellation of its tenth edition in 2020 due to the pandemic. Spanning 7,000 square meters, the fair will introduce two new sections: MIDA – Milan Image Design Art, featuring 11 exhibitors, and a curated focus on Scandinavian design by Nicola Quadri. The Main Section will showcase 90 galleries from around the globe. Additionally, Beyond Photography will return with a new sub-section curated by Domenico de Chirico. A tribute to Giovanni Gastel will highlight his postponed 2020 exhibition. Awards include the New Post Photography prize and the Premio BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas. Fabio and Lorenza Castelli remarked that the hiatus rejuvenated the event.
