Mexico City launches condo gallery-share program with 22 host galleries; Warsaw debuts Friend of a Friend initiative.

The gallery-share initiative known as Condo is set to debut in Mexico City, with its first edition opening on April 14 and continuing until May 12. Ana Castello from joségarcía, mx, is organizing this event, which will showcase 22 local galleries alongside 49 international collaborators. Launched in London in 2016, this innovative exhibition format presents an alternative to conventional art fairs by allowing galleries to share their spaces worldwide. A smaller variant, Condo Unit, will kick off in São Paulo on April 6, while Shanghai is scheduled to host its edition in summer 2018. Additionally, Warsaw will present Friend of a Friend on April 7-8, featuring eight galleries welcoming guests from various countries, emphasizing collaboration over competition.
