The design drew inspiration from Baz Luhrmann, a key figure in the gala's aesthetic. Suspended above the information desk, the moon enhances the romantic vibe aligned with the evening's Northern Italian garden theme. Cypress trees and terracotta pots filled with lavender adorn the area where co-chairs Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour welcomed attendees. This year, guests with elaborate trains will explore the new Condé M. Nast Galleries on the first floor, featuring a trompe l'oeil garden backdrop. Àvila notes that the moon is among his largest creations.
