Mesh, Automattic's Personal CRM, Launches on Android

Last year, Automattic, the parent company of WordPress.com, acquired Mesh, a personal relationship manager and CRM, which has now debuted on Android. This application enables users to securely manage and track their personal and professional connections, add notes to contacts, and set reminders for outreach. The Android version features enhancements like split-screen and pop-up views for multitasking alongside other applications such as messaging or email. Additional functionalities include keyboard shortcuts for foldable devices, in-app search, home screen widgets in Material You colors, and real-time synchronization across devices. Mesh is also integrating with Automattic's messaging platform, Beeper, allowing users to draft messages and link to Mesh profiles. Future enhancements will introduce AI capabilities for better relationship management, including Nexus AI for querying networks. Privacy remains a priority, with no personal data shared for advertising, and the service is subscription-based, free for up to 1,000 contacts. About 70% of users utilize Mesh for business, primarily executives and those with large networks. Mesh (formerly known as Clay) can be downloaded for free on Google Play for phones, tablets, and foldables, with in-app purchases available.
