Mercedes-Benz unveils all-electric seventh-generation C-Class with SUV-inspired design and AI-powered hyperscreen
Mercedes-Benz has introduced its all-electric seventh-generation C-Class, which traces its origins to the 1982 W201 190, a model that achieved sales of approximately 1.8 million units. The latest iteration incorporates SUV-inspired design elements, such as a prominent central grille and substantial air intakes, along with rear lights that draw inspiration from the Mercedes-AMG Concept AMG GT XX. Inside, the car resembles a compact S-Class, featuring optional Twisted Diamond Nappa leather and a 39.1-inch MBUX Hyperscreen. The voice control system now integrates AI capabilities through ChatGPT, Microsoft Bing, and Google Assistant. Equipped with a 94 kWh battery, it offers a WLTP range of up to 473 miles (762 km). At present, it is available solely as a saloon, with future variations still unclear.
