Memoria Collettiva: Casa Spazio and Casa Sponge Unite in Palermo

In Palermo, the collateral event Border Crossing, part of Manifesta 12 and curated by Bridge Art and Dimora OZ, showcases the project Memoria Collettiva. This initiative connects Casa Spazio in Palermo with Casa Sponge in Pergola (PU), established by Giovanni Gaggia, which recently marked its tenth anniversary. The exhibition titled 'Memoria Collettiva. Casa Spazio incontra Casa Sponge,' overseen by Lorenzo Calamia and Serena Ribaudo, opens on September 27 at Casa Spazio, focusing on themes of hospitality and memory. It includes a Wunderkammer featuring works from 15 artists and a performance segment with seven artists, engaging visitors over six weekends. The exhibition will be on display until November 4, 2018, as part of Le Vie dei Tesori's Itinerario Contemporaneo, curated by Paola Nicita.
