MEGA: A New Hybrid Art Fair-Museum Format Launches in Milan
MEGA will make its inaugural appearance during Milan Art Week 2024, scheduled from April 10 to 14 at Scalo Porta Genova, located at via Valenza 2. This event, developed by BeAdvisors Art Department, Mattia Pozzoni Art Advisory, Fabio Lucarelli, and Burro Studio, merges a collective gallery showcase with a boutique satellite fair, providing galleries with reduced expenses and collectors with a more relaxed atmosphere. Confirmed participants include seventeen international galleries such as Cable Depot (London), Public Service (Stockholm), and König Galerie (Berlin/Seoul/Mexico City). The exhibition is designed by Andrea Isola, with media support from L’Essenziale Studio. MEGA will also host talks, performances, workshops, and music events, collaborating with universities. Additionally, an acquisition prize from Collezione Scarzella aims to address "fairtigue."
