Meg Webster to debut organic sculptures in Chelsea solo show
On May 9, Meg Webster is set to launch a new solo show at 521 West 21st Street, featuring her latest sculptures and drawings. This exhibition will include a unique installation made from natural materials. It comes right after her major show at Dia Beacon, New York, which ran from 2024 to 2026 and wrapped up on April 13, along with her involvement in 'Minimal' at the Bourse de Commerce - Pinault Collection in Paris, scheduled for 2025 to 2026. Since the 1980s, Webster has been using materials like soil, moss, branches, wax, and salt to create geometric forms that reflect Minimalist art while also emphasizing human interaction and environmental issues.
