Meg Onli Named Curator-at-Large at Whitney Museum After 15-Year Vacancy
Meg Onli has been named Curator-at-Large at the Whitney Museum of American Art, a position that has been vacant for fifteen years. In this capacity, she aims to explore themes of conceptualism and identity. Currently, Onli is co-curating the 2024 Whitney Biennial alongside Chrissie Iles. Her past roles include co-director and curator at the Underground Museum in Los Angeles, as well as curator at ICA Philadelphia, where she organized notable exhibitions like 'Colored People Time: Mundane Features, Quotidian Pasts, Banal Presents' and 'Jessica Vaughn: Our Primary Focus Is To Be Successful.'
