MeetMuseum Bridges Italian Museums and Businesses for Cultural Sponsorship

MeetMuseum, an Italian platform founded to facilitate dialogue between museums and businesses, aims to help cultural institutions achieve financial sustainability while allowing companies to associate their brands with Italy's cultural heritage. The initiative maps museums' needs and corporate requirements to create mutually beneficial partnerships, such as using museum spaces for corporate events without compromising their mission. MeetMuseum has developed Artway, a digital video guide app connecting four museum sites on Lake Como—Villa Carlotta, Villa Balbianello (FAI), Sacro Monte di Ossuccio (UNESCO), and Isola Comacina—through twelve itineraries with over 200 multimedia contents, including audio, video, and interactive features. The project, promoted by the Municipality of Tremezzina and Regione Lombardia, also includes 15 navigable panoramic photos and beacon technology for visitor engagement. A similar interactive video guide replaced traditional audioguides for the Hayez exhibition at Gallerie d'Italia in Milan. MeetMuseum argues that museums can generate economic value for companies beyond sponsorship or patronage, leveraging Italy's unique artistic heritage as a competitive advantage for creative and innovative firms. The team has expertise in exhibition organization, art publishing, and cultural marketing.
