Mediterranea 19 Young Artists Biennial to Take Place in San Marino
The Republic of San Marino will host the 19th Biennial of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean, known as Mediterranea 19. Scheduled from May 15 to October 31, 2021, this event, announced by BJCEM, will showcase more than 70 artists from the Mediterranean area. The theme, "School of Waters," is curated by Alessandro Castiglioni and Simone Frangi. In collaboration with San Marino's Ministry of Education and Culture, this biennial signifies San Marino's re-entry into the global cultural arena after a 50-year hiatus. Key venues include the Galleria Nazionale and the former Convent of Santa Chiara. The opening is set for May 14, 2021, with live streaming available, followed by a second phase dedicated to performing arts in July 2021.
