Mayfair Art Weekend's Abstract Now Tour Guides Visitors Through Contemporary Abstraction
The Mayfair Art Weekend kicks off on Friday, 28 June, featuring Gallery HOP! with late-night events at more than thirty galleries from 6-8pm. ArtReview releases themed guides, highlighting The Abstract Now Tour, which explores abstract art from the 1960s to the present. From 5 June to 27 July, Victoria Miro showcases Howardena Pindell's inaugural UK exhibition, including a breakfast viewing on 28 June. Ann-Marie James' work will be displayed at Lyndsey Ingram from 19 June to 2 August, accompanied by a workshop on Saturday. Bastian Gallery will present Ulrich Erben's pieces from 21 June to 10 August, with a discussion scheduled for 30 June. Mazzoleni features Nunzio's first solo show in London from 7 June to 7 September, while Waterhouse & Dodd highlights Jon Schueler's skyscapes from 18 June to 12 July.
