MAXXI Rome announces 2022 exhibition program with Ukraine solidarity show and Pasolini centenary
On March 10, the MAXXI museum in Rome will kick off its 2022 exhibition season with 'UKRAINE: SHORT STORIES. Contemporary Artists from Ukraine,' showcasing 140 artists. Tickets are priced at €5, with all proceeds directed towards Ukraine's humanitarian efforts. The exhibition lineup features 'PIER PAOLO PASOLINI. TUTTO È SANTO' from November 2022 to May 2023, 'TOKYO REVISITED' from April 15 to October, and 'GIANNI BERENGO GARDIN' from May 4 to September 18. Additionally, 'WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD' and 'TECHNOSCAPE' will be available until April 10, 2023. Internationally, 'OPERA OPERA' will take place in Berlin from April 27 to August 22, 2022. Notable awards include the MAXXI BVLGARI PRIZE (June 24, 2022 to January 8, 2023) and the PREMIO ITALIANO DI ARCHITETTURA in October.
